A man wanted in the March 1 killing of a Pine Bluff woman was located and captured by members of the U.S. Marshals Service on Thursday evening.
Samuel Wimbly, 61, is accused of capital murder and possession of a firearm by certain persons in the death of Kinyatta Ringo-Wimbly, 40. He was booked into the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Detention Center at 12:53 a.m. Friday, according to an online jail log.
Ringo-Wimbly was found to have suffered apparent gunshot wounds after family members who were unable to contact her forced entry into her residence at 6515 Cimarron, just north of Sheridan Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The Pine Bluff Police Department thanks the United States Marshals Service and partnering agencies for their assistance in locating the suspect,” police said in a news release.

A man wanted in connection with the Feb. 26 death of Kenny Christopher was located and arrested, Pine Bluff police have confirmed.
John Mayo was booked into the Brassell Detention Center on suspicion of manslaughter (“resisting such offense of flight causes death”), at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, according to online jail records.
Police say they determined that dogs owned by Crystal and John Mayo attacked and killed Christopher, 63, who was discovered in front of a residence at 2105 S. Oak. St. Crystal Mayo was taken into custody Tuesday.
According to jail logs, John Mayo is 41 and Crystal Mayo is 42.
