Members of RSVP hold successful MLK food drive

The first annual RSVP/Reynolds Center MLK Food Drive was a success.

Participants brought non-perishable food items for Neighbor to Neighbor, a local non-profit agency and RSVP station. Neighbor to Neighbor has a food pantry, serves a hot meal at noon five days a week and has many other projects that assist low income individuals, seniors and families in crisis.

The Reynolds Center exercise group heard an informative Martin Luther King Jr. reading by RSVP member Jessie Bell in conjunction with the food drive. Her topic was “The Education of Blacks in Arkansas Over the Last 100 Years.”
