Col. Charles D. Maynard Lock (No. 5) in Jefferson County will be closed to navigation traffic on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System temporarily to replace sections of hydraulic piping.
Closures will occur from 6 a.m. March 25 until 6 a.m. March 26, and from 6 a.m. March 27 until 6 a.m. March 28, according to a news release.
If the work is completed ahead of schedule, the lock will reopen, however, unforeseen problems could require additional time.
