The Pine Bluff Police released the following statement Saturday regarding the 9th homicide in the city this year:
“On May 2, 2020 around 1:00 p.m., officers of the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to 2910 E. Harding (Staples) in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers found 43-year-old Stanley Jones with apparent gunshot wounds, unresponsive. Jones was pronounced deceased on the scene.”
In an update later Saturday, the Pine Bluff Police announced that 28-year-old Kendra Howard had been booked into the jail for 1st Degree Murder.
