A 28-year-old man was found shot to death on Saturday night, according to the Pine Bluff Police Department.
At a little before 10 p.m., police went to the Village Green Apartments at 4321 S. Olive St. because a shooting had been called in.
When they arrived, they were directed by witnesses to one of the apartments where they found a male lying in the open doorway. The man, later identified as Tamar’k Jack, was lying face down and had suffered what appeared to be several bullet wounds. Jack was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene by a representative with the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
Police searched the apartment but found no other victims.

Police said they had no suspect information to release at the time the homicide was made public, which was mid-day Sunday on the department’s Facebook page. This is Pine Bluff’s 11th homicide this year.
