Makiyah Mustiful of Pine Bluff performs “Bang Bang” by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj during an episode of “American Idol” that aired on Monday. Fans of the long-running singing competition voted for her and other contestants within an 11-hour period that concluded Tuesday morning to advance from the top 20 signing at Disney resort Aulani on the Hawaii island of Ohana to the top 14, which will be revealed March 30.
