Main Street reopens downtown

After three-and-a-half years, Main Street in downtown Pine Bluff between Sixth and Eighth avenues is back open. The city has completed demolition on the derelict Garland Trice building at 620 S. Main St. The building had collapsed several times over the past several years. The most recent collapse last month prompted fire and emergency services to declare an emergency and order it torn down. Trice will be billed for the demolition work, according to the city. Pine Bluff Commercial/David Hutter
