On Saturday, United States Postal Service mail carriers will collect non-perishable food donations during the 20th annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive to help feed the needy.
To participate, residents are asked to leave food items in bags near their mailboxes Saturday and the letter carriers will collect them on their mail routes. (Glass items cannot be accepted.)
The food donations are given to pantries in the communities where they are collected.
