The Arkansas State Highway Commission approved a bid to remove a bridge structure and replace it with a reinforced concrete box culvert on Arkansas 11 in Lincoln County.
1911 Construction Company Inc. of Pine Bluff was awarded the contract at $595,172, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT.)
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in late 2018.
