Over the last few weeks, I have had numerous people inquire as to whether my father, Vannette Johnson, is running for re-election to the Jefferson County Quorum Court. The reason they are asking is because they say they are not seeing the signs that we normally put out each time he runs for re-election. The reason the signs are not visible is because for some reason they are being removed. We have been placing signs in yards for many years, and when they fall down, we go back to the site and put them back up. We are not able to do that this time. Not only is the sign down, but it has been removed from the site completely.
Let’s be fair to all of the candidates who are running for election… please do not remove campaign signs that have been put out; they require time, effort and most of all money.
So to answer the question…Yes, Vannette Johnson is running for re-election for Justice of the Peace District 7, and again we ask for and appreciate your support.
