For its final session, the 2024 Leadership Pine Bluff Class visited the Pine Bluff Arsenal.
The group learned more about the Arsenal during a presentation from Commander Col. Collin Keenan.
After a smoke grenade demonstration, the group toured the Arsenal’s textile manufacturing operation and an air filter manufacturing facility, according to the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce newsletter.
Following the tour, the class had lunch on base prepared by Cool Breeze Restaurant, including smoked ribs and all the trimmings.
For its afternoon session, the group visited Pine Bluff Wastewater Utilities’ Boyd Point Wastewater Treatment Facility located near Island Harbor Marina Road.
“Thank you, Pine Bluff Wastewater Utility, for providing this vital service to our community,” a Chamber spokesman said.
