The Kiwanis Club of Pine Bluff is sponsoring a Pastors’ Appreciation Day at its regular meeting at the Pine Bluff Country Club at noon Wednesday, Oct. 19.
Kiwanis members are inviting their ministers and others to join them for lunch and a program in appreciation for their dedicated service to the community, a spokesman said.
Reservations should be made before noon, Tuesday, Oct. 18. The cost is $13 per person.
The featured speaker will be the Rev. Mark Norman, Southeast District superintendent of the United Methodist Church.
“I cannot think of a better way our club can serve, encourage, support and honor our faithful clergy than by giving them information and access to helpful services that could benefit their ministries,” said John Henry, club president.
