Democratic Jefferson County judge candidate Dutch King has collected more than twice the amount of his Republican challenger Ted Harden, according to campaign contribution and expenditure reports filed in the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office Tuesday.
The report showed that King, who had two challengers in the Democratic primary, carried over $2,997.29 and has received additional campaign contributions to bring his total to $19,465. He has spent $12,725.90, leaving a balance of $9,736.39.
Harden, who faced no primary opposition, began with $40.91 and has received contributions totaling $9,715.
Harden has spent $6,290.62, leaving him with a balance of $3,465.29.
