Justice of the Peace Brenda Bishop Gaddy has announced her plans for reelection for District 13 on the Jefferson County Quorum Court.
“Today, I am formally announcing my candidacy for re-election to Justice Peace District 13,” Gaddy said in a news release.
Her name will appear on the Democratic primary election ballot.
“It is an honor to be able to speak up and stand for District 13. It can be a struggle to fight for what is right but, that’s exactly what I intend to do, for the people in District 13,” she said.
Gaddy is interested in enhancing the infrastructure and safety of the area she represents.
“I will continue to fight for our roads in rural areas and to support and keep our communities safe. Today, I ask for your help and support in this race specifically your vote would be greatly appreciated,” she said. “Thanking you in advance, Brenda Bishop Gaddy.”
The filing period for candidates begins Nov. 3. The primary election is March 3.
