The jury has sentenced Olivia Moody, 21, to 30 years in prison — the maximum penalty allowed under the law — after finding her guilty of second-degree murder in the 2011 shooting death of Venessa Bearden, 21.
Moody will have to serve a minimum 7.5 years before she is eligible for parole.
