JRMC to host health fair at Biz Expo

Jefferson Regional Medical Center will present the 2018 Health Fair during Biz Expo Thursday, May 3, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. The health fair will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The expo is a program of the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce.

“From blood pressure checks to fall-risk assessments, Biz Expo visitors are invited to take a few minutes on May 3 to participate in a series of health screenings, compliments of JRMC,” according to a news release.

The health fair will feature blood sugar screenings, cholesterol screenings, weight and body fat screenings, balance screenings, blood pressure screenings and breast self-awareness techniques.

All screenings are free to wearers of Expo wristbands. The health fair will be located at the back of the convention center arena.

The expo will begin with the Business Expo Breakfast from 7:30-9 a.m. May 3 at the convention center banquet hall. Breakfast tickets are $15 each.

The Business Expo will open in the arena beginning at 9 a.m. for VIP (exhibitors and invited guests.) From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will be open to the general public. Admission is$5 per person.

Rates for exhibitors seeking booths for Biz Expo have been set. The member rate booths are $250 each. The non-member rate booths are $360 each.
