During Colorectal Cancer Screening Week, Jefferson Regional Medical Center is offering free screening kits that can be used at home.
The kits will be available in the main lobby of JRMC from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 23, through Friday, March 27.
The screening is not a substitute for a colonoscopy, but it could alert someone to potential problems, as well as the need to see a doctor.
