Jefferson Regional Medical Center is hosting a social media challenge to help the community stay healthy during the holiday season.
To participate in the challenge, participants take healthy photos and post them on their Instagram or Facebook page with the hashtags #jrmcchallenge and #healthyselfie. Selfies, photos of the participant snapped by friends (or vice versa) and food photographs promoting physical or emotional health will all be accepted. Each week, from November 25 to December 27, JRMC will award a prize to a participant. And on December 27, two grand-prize winners will be announced. The grand prizes are Fitbits for him and her. Every time participants post, they get another chance to win. To be eligible to win, these guidelines must be followed:
1. Participants must post healthy photos on their own Facebook or Instagram page
2. Participants must follow (on Instagram) or like (on Facebook) JRMC’s social media page
3. In their post, participants must tag jrmcarkansas on Instagram and JRMC on Facebook

Photos can include fitness of any kind. They don’t have to be at a gym; JRMC just wants to see the community getting active.
Photos can show how participants stay healthy by eating well. From family dinner photos to recipes.
Fostering mental and emotional health is just as important as eating well and exercising. Participants may also post photos of how they stay healthy by spending time with those they love, reading, writing and more.
