Registration has started for the annual babysitting class, the Super Teen Sitter Squad, which will take place June 18 at Jefferon Regional Medical Center.
The course will be held between 8:30 a.m. and p.m. in the hospital’s Henslee Conference Center. The class will be limited to 60 participants between 12 – 18 years old.
Topics will include medical emergencies, general home safety, creative play, fire safety, an introduction to CPR and the ethics and responsibilities required of a caregiver.
Registration is $25 and may be paid at the JRMC cashier window. The fee includes lunch, materials and a diploma. Details: Call Lisa Duke at 541-8735.
