MONTICELLO — Finishing the Southeast Arkansas Conference undefeated is twice as nice for Jack Robey Junior High’s basketball teams.
In boys action, Robey defeated Monticello 40-28 behind 11 points form Marcus Thomas and eight from Jayshon Williams. The Colts improved to 19-2 overall and 6-0 in the conference and will play an opponent to be determined at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at El Dorado.
The Robey girls team also went 6-0 in the league after beating Monticello 42-34. Chasity Moore led the Fillies (20-1 overall) with 12 points and Jada Taylor added 11.
The Fillies will play their conference tournament game against an unnamed opponent at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in El Dorado.
