Jefferson County Judge Dutch King issued a burn ban in effect from Wednesday, Sept. 30, until further notice.
The county was placed under a burn ban again because of the dry conditions that increase the level of fire danger.
The ban is for the entire county, including cities of Pine Bluff, White Hall, Humphrey, Sherrill, Altheimer, Wabbaseka and Redfield.
