The Jefferson County Farm Bureau is accepting applications for a $1,000 scholarship. The recipient must be a student pursuing an agriculture-related degree and have a 2.5 grade point average or equivalent.
The recipient must also be a U.S. citizen, Arkansas resident and have an active Farm Bureau family membership, according to a news release.
The scholarship is based on academic achievement, character, career plans and leadership potential.
