The Jefferson County Association of Realtors hosted a successful annual fundraiser Oct. 9, benefiting Neighbor to Neighbor of Jefferson County.

The event, held at the Pine Bluff Public Library, combined community support with important association business, according to a news release from Tamara Works, executive broker with Lunsford & Associates Realty Co. and 2025 association president.

Approximately 50 people attended the general meeting, which featured the swearing-in of the 2026 Board of Directors.

The ceremony was led by Rodney Rodgers, a well known Pine Bluff Realtor with more than 45 years of service. Rodgers is a past officer of the former Pine Bluff Board of Realtors and a past district vice president for the Arkansas Realtors Association.

The evening’s events, which included Bingo and dinner, generated proceeds that will be entirely donated to Neighbor to Neighbor.

“JCAR has a proud history of supporting this critical local charity, having hosted an annual fundraiser, designated for Neighbor to Neighbor of Jefferson County for 16 years,” according to the news release. “Beginning with past president and local REALTOR Alicia King in 2014. The association deeply values the ongoing, positive impact the organization makes year after year in Jefferson County.”
