Dollarway School District, in collaboration with the Arkansas River Education Service Coorperative, will host a Summer Literacy Camp.
The camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 9-12 and July 16-19 at James Matthews Elementary School, 4501 Dollarway Road.
The camp will be a learning opportunity for qualifying children who are 4 or 5 years old with priority given to children entering kindergarten in August, according to a news release.
“The purpose of this literacy camp is to emphasize vocabulary development while fostering a love of reading,” according to a news release.
This camp is open to students in Arkansas, Grant, and Jefferson counties.
Parents must complete a registration application in advance. Applications can be picked up at James Matthews school from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
