Jack Robey Junior High School announces dates for schedule pickups and the back-to-school blast.
The school will hand out class schedules at the school cafeteria Wednesday for 8th grade students and Thursday for 9th graders. Parents may pick up schedules from the counselor’s office Friday if they miss the earlier dates.
Also, Jack Robey’s second annual back-to-school blast will be held at the school from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16. The event will include food and games. Parents and students are invited to attend.
“The back-to-school blast is designed to foster a sense of community in a fun-filled atmosphere where the faculty can begin building positive and supportive relationships with students, parents and the community,” a spokesman said.
