Sederick C. Rice, assistant professor of biology at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, will speak to the Ivy Center for Education students and parents at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Discussion topics will include the role of robotics in STEM education, a review of STEM fundamentals and computer science concepts in robotics, STEM robotics educational opportunities for parents, teachers, and students and a discussion on developing and funding K-12 robotics competition teams.
