The Ivy Center for Education Inc. will hold two ACT Prep Workshops on Tuesday, April 7, and Wednesday, April 8, in the Pine Bluff High School cafeteria to prepare students for the Saturday, April 18, test.
The ACT Prep Workshops will be held from 5-7 p.m. both days.
Workshop presenters are from the University of Arkansas Diversity Affairs Outreach Office. Cedric Jackson and Ashia Madison will provide nutritious snacks, which will be served to students from 4-5 p.m. both days.
Students may sign up to attend the workshops at their respective schools.
The Ivy Center for Education Inc. will need a head count in advance to know how many students will participate in the workshops.

The Ivy Center encourages seventh- through 12th-grade students who are serious about preparing for the ACT and want to do well on the exam to attend. Students should bring two sharpened No. 2 pencils and paper to the workshops.
A goal of the Ivy Center for Education is to hold ACT Prep Workshops on all high school campuses throughout Jefferson County to prepare students for college.
The registration deadline is Friday.
