A free Wabbaseka Health/Wellness Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Wabbaseka Community Center.
The event is sponsored by Wabbaseka native and author Jason Irby and the city of Wabbaseka. There will be free health and wellness screenings, food, information and gifts, according to a news release.
Services will be presented by Tina Adams – Community Development, ARVEST Bank, Jefferson Comprehensive Care System Inc., American Cancer Society, Jefferson County Extension Service, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Small Farm Program, AARP and Lupus Champion.
