Registration is open for the Hurricane HYPE (Helping Young People Excel) Center Basketball League for boys and girls ages K5 through 5th grade. A 3-on-3 League for 6-8th graders will also be held, according to a news release.
The registration fee is $20 per person until Sunday, Feb. 17. Registration is underway at New St. Hurricane Missionary Baptist Church and the center, 3319 S. Ohio St., on the following dates:
New St. Hurricane — Monday through Thursday, 9-11 a.m. or 1-4 p.m.
HYPE Center — Monday through Thursday, 5-7:30 p.m.
