The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance is accepting grant applications for after-school feeding programs.
The purpose of these grants is to help ensure that sites and sponsors can offer meals as part of their after-school programming, according to a news release.
To be eligible to receive the grant, sponsors must participate in a U.S. Department of Agriculture reimbursed meal program through the Child and Adult Care Feeding Program or through the National School Lunch Program.
“This grant opportunity is funded through No Kid Hungry to help At-Risk After-school Meal (aka “Supper”) sponsors expand participation in after-school meals and extended day meal programs that receive reimbursement through the USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP),” according to the release.
“If you wish to find more information regarding CACFP At-Risk After-school Meals, please visit http://www.fns.usda.gov/cacfp/afterschool-meals,” according to the release.
