The Jefferson County Humane Society is holding its membership renewal drive.
Funds raised during 2014 helped get 165 animals adopted and 240 animals spayed or neutered, according to a press release.
Single memberships are $25; family membership is $40; and business membership is $100. Donations are tax deductible. All of the funds go toward animal care.
The Humane Society is also always looking for volunteer foster homes. Meetings are 6:30 p.m. the first Monday of each month at Animal Hospital, 3107 S. Olive St.
