Army Pvt. Keaton T. Howard has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
A 2014 graduate of White Hall High School, Howard is the son of Mark D. Howard of Benton and Debra J. Martindill of Pine Bluff. He is the grandson of Mary L. Howard of Benton.
During the nine weeks of training, Howard studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills among other training.
