Local agencies will host a National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Third Avenue and Main Street in downtown Pine Bluff.
The health fair will include health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and HIV. Free food and a T-shirt will be given with the HIV test.
Sponsors include the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Pop’s Barber and Beauty Shop, and Jefferson Comprehensive Care System Inc.
