The Pine Bluff Historic District Commission will host its first historic preservation awards presentation from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at 218 W. Barraque St. on the historic “Cotton Row.”
Slated to receive Excellence in Preservation awards are:
• Bob Abbott — Lifetime Achievement in Historical Preservation.
• George Makris/MK Distributors — Preservation Through Rehabilitation.
• Kathy Majewska And Jack Stradley — Rehabilitation of a Personal Residence.
• Jefferson County Historical Society Quarterly – Outstanding Preservation Reporting in the Media.
