The Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative, 912 W. Sixth Ave., will provide free health screenings to children serviced by HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters), PAT (Parents as Teachers) or ABC (Arkansas Better Chance) from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday.
The screenings will be available by appointment only. The last appointment will be taken at 4:30 p.m. Parents are asked to bring updated immunization records. Parents can also receive free blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol screenings.
