Highway crews to replace 2 bridges in Lincoln, Desha counties

The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a $2.7 million bid for improvements to a roadway in Desha and Lincoln counties, according to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

Thomco Inc. of North Little Rock was awarded the contract to replace two bridges on Highway 212.

The first bridge is located in Lincoln County, over Cypress Creek, which is 2 miles east of Gould. The second bridge is in Desha County over a canal, 1.7 miles west of County Road 33.
