The South Central Center on Aging-University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, the University of Arkansas Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Office and AFMC Million Hearts Campaign will host a free event at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cooperative Extension Office, 500 S. Idaho St.
The program, sponsored by the Arkansas County Partners in Health, will consist of food preparation demonstrations and tastings, a tour of the community garden, an overview of the Million Hearts Campaign and door prizes. Details and reservations: 879-1440.
