HBCU GO announced its 2024 football broadcast schedule Thursday, and it includes four games involving the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

The Southern Heritage Classic, two road games and one UAPB home game at Simmons Bank Field will be streamed on HBCU GO digital platforms and will air via syndication in major television markets.

UAPB’s matchup against Tennessee State in the Southern Heritage Classic will be the Golden Lions’ first appearance on HBCU GO this fall, a matchup set to kick off at 6 p.m. on Sept. 14 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis.

The Golden Lions’ road games at Alcorn State on Oct. 5 and at Grambling State on Oct. 19 will both be streamed by HBCU GO, as will UAPB’s season finale at home against Texas Southern on Nov. 23. All three games will begin at 2 p.m. The Alcorn State and Grambling State games are those schools’ respective homecoming games.

Thursday’s announcement means six UAPB games’ broadcast details have been finalized. ESPN previously announced the season opener against Arkansas in Little Rock on Aug. 29 and UAPB’s first SWAC home game against Prairie View A&M on Oct. 11 will air on ESPNU.

HBCU GO will broadcast 26 total football games this season, including 14 which involve SWAC teams. The rest of the games involve teams from the two NCAA Division II historically Black conferences, the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, including the CIAA championship game.
