Editor, The Commercial:
We would like to take this time to say thank you to all those who were so kind and caring during the tragic loss of our daughter, Roshunda Harris, who left this place on Nov. 14, 2011 to be with our creator.
Whether it was by your presence, a phone call, a card, a prayer or any other form, we are so proud to know how much our daughter was loved and through the out pour of our hearts, you have shown us that we raised a daughter that any parent would be proud of.
We would also love to give a very special thanks to Chancellor Davis and the UAPB Administration for allowing us to use their facilities for our daughter’s home-going celebration. A special thanks go out to the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. for their love and support. We truly can understand why she wanted to be a part of your family because the grace that you all carry in your hearts is what every woman should pattern themselves to strive for.
To our family, we would like for you all to know that if it wasn’t for your prayers and comfort, we could not have made it. Your encouraging words reminded us that through the spirit of God, all things are possible. Continue to keep us in your prayers, because although Roshunda is gone, she will never be forgotten.

Last, we say thank you to our pastor, LeArthur Shelton and the Lampkin Chapel church family. We love you, and will be forever grateful that God has placed you all in our lives. Thank you….
