Harding University at Searcy inducted more than 100 students into the school’s chapter of Alpha Chi National Honor Society on Nov. 3. Two were from Southeast Arkansas.
Locals include Timothy Scott of Pine Bluff, an educational leadership major; and Tamara Strawn of Sheridan, an educational leadership major.
Alpha Chi is a nationally acclaimed honor society designed to commend academic excellence in universities across the nation. The Arkansas Eta chapter at Harding is for the upper 10 percent of the junior and senior classes, according to the news release.
