The Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup in Arkansas will be held Sunday, March 1, through Sunday, May 31.
All communities are encouraged to take part in the annual community cleanup effort.
“So much can be accomplished when we work together to maintain the beauty of our state,” said Elizabeth Philpott, Keep Arkansas Beautiful volunteer services coordinator. “Communities will be transformed by the efforts of volunteers involved in the Great American Cleanup.”
KAB will work with cleanup coordinators to plan and publicize events. KAB will provide volunteers with trash bags, gloves, safety vests and other cleanup supplies. Volunteers will be eligible to win prizes.
