Grambling State’s five-run second inning was enough to get by the Arkansas-Pine Bluff baseball team on Sunday with a 9-2 win.
UAPB (6-25-1, 5-10) won two out of the three games in the series though, but were held to two runs on seven hits in the third game.
Brett Schweiger took the loss as he gave up six runs on seven hits in five innings and struck out six batters.
Tyler Hill went 1-for-3 with an RBI for UAPB.
