The women of Grace Episcopal Church, 4101 S. Hazel St., will host “Grace to Go,” the annual spring fundraiser, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27. The event will be held in Milwee Hall at the church.
There is no admission charge and everyone is invited to attend, according to a news release.
Guests may purchase homemade food items, including casseroles, desserts, tamales, salsa and bakery items such as cakes, pies, cookies and breads. Also featured will be some of the items offered in past years at the Grace English Tea. In addition, smoked meats (chicken, ribs, pork butt) will be available, according to the release.
This is the 35th year of Grace ECW’s spring fundraiser, formerly known as the “English Tea.” The proceeds will be used for outreach programs of the churchwomen, including support for local agencies such as Neighbor to Neighbor, ACCESS, CASA and the Salvation Army, according to the release.
Funds will also support camp scholarships for youth, St. Francis House at Little Rock and numerous local and national organizations and/or needs.
