Governor lying
Editor, The Commercial:
Since 1973, Project Innocence has found over 200 prisoners, some already executed and others since released who were falsely convicted. Folks, there is no way to make corrections when the state has wrongly killed a prisoner in our name. Is it nearly enough to tell his wife and kids, or Mom and Dad, “We’re so sorry we, in effect murdered your loved one” because such things don’t have to happen.
We know the possibilities are there. It has long been proven that an execution accrues more costs than caring for a prisoner over his lifespan. But the prevalent viewpoint is that the “victims deserve” closure by execution of the accused.

The present governor and her cabal in the legislature are seen in the media boasting of being the most “pro-life” in the nation. The reality is they’re the most “‘forced birth,” and feel they have some sort of God given right to control the decisions of other folks — but refuse to bear the burdens they bind upon others.
Unwanted kids are filling our prisons as adults, and our would-be Empress is pushing for a billion-dollar prison to contain them. Half of that money could provide birth control to those needing it and prevent the lion’s share of crime and misery we’re witnessing. Prevented pregnancies preclude the need for abortions! But then our elected Pharisees couldn’t force their religion on their subjects, and thus be forced to relinquish their control of the unwashed masses’ lives and decision making.
So when the religion pushing would-be tyrants so openly boast of being pro-life, this is notification they’re lying like a rug. Two hundred or so dead innocent people their vengeance demanding laws have murdered by design or mistake could, from the silence of their graves, tell them so.
