LITTLE ROCK — Gov. Mike Beebe announced several appointments Monday including these Southeast Arkansas residents:
• Ed Koon of Sheridan was appointed circuit judge for the Second Division of the Seventh Judicial District, replacing Judge Phil Shirron. The appointment expires Dec. 31, 2012.
• Bruce Lockett of Pine Bluff was appointed to the Arkansas HIV/AIDS Minority Taskforce. His appointment expires Feb. 1, 2015, and he replaces Ruben Arana.
• Carla “Cathi” Swan of Rison was reappointed to the Distance Learning Coordinating Council. The appointment expires Sept. 1, 2014.
• Dr. Janet Curry of Pine Bluff replaces Vanessa Davis on the Governor’s Trauma Advisory Council. The appointment expires July 1, 2013.
