The city of Gould will hold a special called meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, March 24, at city hall. According to a press release from Gould Mayor Essie Dale-Cableton, the purpose of the meeting is to accept the recorder/treasurer’s resignation.
Officials will also appoint a temporary replacement for the recorder/treasurer to conduct the daily operations of the city until someone is selected to serve the unexpired term.
