The first of two road games in SEC territory this season by the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is set for Sunday afternoon.

UAPB will face Missouri at 4 p.m. on SEC Network+ at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Mo.

For UAPB (1-5), this will be the sixth road game of the season and the third against a Power Four opponent.

Junior guard Christian Moore is seeking his sixth-straight double-digit game. After scoring 7 in the opener at Cincinnati, the Jacksonville native has scored 11 or more each game.

He tied his season high with 20 points last time out at Texas Tech.

Moore leads the team in assists with 23 and in steals with 14. He has five assists in each of the past three contests.

Missouri (4-1) is 4-0 at home this season, with two of those wins coming against HBCU foes Howard and Mississippi Valley State. The Tigers defeated Pacific — a team UAPB will see this Wednesday — 91-56 on Friday.

Mizzou is averaging 87.6 points per game while allowing 63.4. Graduate student guard Caleb Grill leads the team with 15.8 points per game. Three other Tigers are averaging double digits.

The Tigers defeated UAPB 101-79 in last season’s opener.
