To thank the community for supporting the Girl Scout Cookie program, Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas are donating cookies to charity/civic organizations across the state.
The donations will be made during Girl Scouts Give Back Week, May 23-27. At Pine Bluff, the event will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, at Neighbor to Neighbor, 1419 S. Pine St.
Dawn Prasifka, CEO of Girl Scouts – Diamonds, and local Girl Scout Troop 1011 will make the presentation.
Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas serves more than 9,000 girls and 3,700 volunteers. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place, a spokesman said.
