The Jefferson County Genealogical Society will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum, 201 E. Fourth Ave. The public is invited to attend.
Dr. Martha Flowers, M.D., will discuss “Those blooming Flowers and related branches.”
Flowers has practiced medicine in several locations, including Africa, before settling in Pine Bluff, according to a news release. She graduated from Southeast High School and Howard University and studied medicine at Nashville, Tenn.
