A gardening project by Karleah Harris, assistant professor in the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Department of Human Sciences, recently brought together grandparents, great-grandparents and children. Participants included Frances Rodgers (left), Johnny Jynes, Karleah Harris, Staci Irby, grandson Carter Martin (in front of Irby) Carolyn Jackson, great-granddaughter Erynn Jones (in front of Jackson) and Kevin Harris. The gardeners tilled the soil, planted seeds, and harvested fruits, vegetables and herbs.
